Time Bomb (finished)

Something was annoying me about this piece. Most munitions are black which is why I had given this several coats of black, gun metal and silver but I was struggling to connect with it being a grenade. It just didn't look right. It wasn't until I was spraying it another coat of black that I realized it had to be green. Green is another often used colour for ordnance but even after attacking it with a couple of dfferent shades of green to delineate between the trigger housing, detonator, etc, I still wasn't happy with it. I decided it needed to be one shade of green; olive green which is the most prevalent shade of green used in the military.
I'm happy with it as it's now a uniform colour as are the soldiers that it's made of and as it's lighter then before, it's much easier to discern the individual figures. As it's now olive green, many of the soldiers have now been returned to their original colour. It has a plastic-look to its surface which I'm very pleased with.
